What I do when a thunderstorm comes - I LOVE thunderstorms...
Turning off the computer, unplug all important electrical devices (TV) that are not on a quality surge protector, and then just sit and watch the thunderstorm go by. In AZ the storms usually last about 30 minutes, it is a good opportunity for a break.
