Need for Small Business Motivation

How do you stay motivated in your small business when it feels like you are continually struggling? You start struggling with the tough questions: is now the right time for my business; do I have the right product and service mix for the current customer base and lastly, should I call it quits? These same questions have most likely plagued all small business owners at some point (or at many points) of their business career. There is a very strong need for small business motivation. It is very tough right now to remain successful and when times get tough, it is hard to remain motivated to keep your small business going.

We have discussed in other articles the need to keep an eye on your competition to see what they are doing correctly or incorrectly. Then you strive to fill the gaps that your competition cannot fill. We have also discussed keeping your products and services appropriate for your customer base, changing or adjusting products and services as your client tastes change. What we didn't review lately is how to remain motivated while you are working to keep your small business profitable and hopefully growing.

One way to know you are going in the right direction with your business is to regularly measure your progress against your established milestones. These metrics should have been included in your business plan, but if you did not include any measurements for growth, now would be a good time to get those benchmarks developed. By measuring your existing business metrics against what you believe should be, you are able to verify either improvement or problems. Either way, you will be motivated, if you are doing better than expected, you will be motivated to continue the momentum. If you are not doing as well as expected, then you are more motivated to get your small business back on the path to financial success. Either way, instead of worrying about where your business might be, you have measured your current business standings and know for certain where you should be taking your business going forward.

Another way to stay motivated with your small business is to talk to others about what you are doing and what you plan on doing in the near future with your business. Because you have taken your ideas out into the light (talking to people) you are now making yourself more accountable for your plans, others will begin asking how you are progressing. Knowing that you have others watching with interest your success will help keep you motivated and continue on with the plans you had discussed. Sometimes we come up with so many plans, we get overwhelmed and end up not implementing any plans. By discussing these new ideas with close friends or other business associates, you can manage and prioritize the ideas (some for implementation now, others for implementation down the road) and then remain motivated to keep your new ideas moving into your business.

Lastly, remember that difficulty is part of being in business. If you look at almost anyone who has started and run a small business, most of the time the business did not grow without difficulties. You need to understand and appreciate that you will be working under pressure (a lot with a new business start-up). Some tasks will be much more difficult than other tasks, and all tasks will most likely be more difficult than you first thought they would be. The difficulty of the task should not stop you from performing the task, just keep in mind it will most likely be challenging. If it was easy to start and continue to run a small business, everyone and their brother would be in a small business. The motivation here is knowing that everyone who has started a small business has experienced difficulties. The bigger motivation is knowing that once you have passed that difficult stage, you can look back and appreciate where you came from and enjoy where you currently are. Remember, odds are that if the task is difficult, the rewards will be higher, and the personal satisfaction will be greater once you have completed the task.

Hopefully these points will help you to remain motivated while you are building your small business. The current economic times are very tough, many businesses are shutting their doors, now is the time to really focus on keeping your business successful because once the economy starts on it's upswing (and yes, it will come up again) you will be riding the front of that wave and wonder why you questioned your business.

If you are looking for a second (or third, or fourth...) income along the lines of a home based business, we may have something that would interest you (www.hawgwash.net). We offer business opportunities in StemTech (adult stem cell nutritionals), Pre-Paid Legal, Waterless cleaning technology and in Mona Vie nutritional drinks. These business opportunities all have a great pay plan and are very reliable business opportunities. Please feel free to contact us with any questions regarding these or any other business opportunity you are considering.

How is your Brain?

Ha!! Got you there. Bet you are wondering where I am going to go with a title like, How is your Brain? Actually, since I am on a health kick this week, (since I know several people who are not healthy..) I thought I would bring up some questions regarding the health of your brain and some simple things to help keep your brain sharper...

The health of your brain plays a critical role in everything you do. If your brain were not functioning effectively, you may have trouble walking, or talking, or even remembering what you were doing ten seconds ago. I know some of us have that problem on a regular basis, but it is not do to lack of brain health...for me it may just be due to lack of brain...(not).

Honestly though, people exercise their bodies and can see results, but you also need to remember to exercise your brain. It too is a muscle and an organ, and does need to be exercised in order to remain sharp. Don't get me wrong, physical exercise is not only good for the body, but it is also good for the brain. The more exercise you get, the better the blood flow will be to all parts of your body, including your brain. Sometimes if you are feeling particularly stressed, if you take a brisk walk, you will find that the problems that seemed overwhelming are not so bad anymore. By increasing blood flow to your brain, you are helping it to relax and then you are able to see alternative solutions to the problem you were wrestling with. Also, as we talked about before, as you exercise, your body releases endorphins which make you feel better and relax you. That relaxation is also a benefit to your brain, it will work better and you can remember better if you are not under a tremendous amount of stress.

You may also want to consider foods that are good for your brain. Some researchers are finding that foods low in fat and cholesterol may reduce the chance of stroke and therefore reduce the chance of brain cell damage. By eating foods high in antioxidants (dark vegetables and fruits), you may also help protect those same brain cells. Cold water fish contain beneficial Omega-3 fatty acids which will also help protect your brain cells. You may also want to take some nutritional products that are high in antioxidants if you are unable to eat the appropriate fresh fruit. MonaVie Active is a great addition to your diet. Also our StemEnhance stem cell nutritional product can help your brain regenerate some of those brain cells that are not working as well as they used to. Both of these product lines are natural and contain high levels of antioxidants.

Remaining socially active can also help keep your brain healthy. Social interaction will force you to remember names, places, events as you recount stories to others. Social interaction can also help you to mitigate the stress you may be under by talking about what is bothering you. You may even have your friends help you to work out a potential solution to your problems. If they can't find a good solution, they could joke around enough with you that you start laughing and then the problem does not seem as bad anymore. All the same, the concept is that social interaction will help to reduce stress and by interacting with others, you are forcing your brain to work (so you are exercising it).

Another way to exercise your brain is to make an effort to learn something new. By forcing yourself to learn new things, you are exercising your brain because researchers have found that the mental stimulation of learning can limit the effect of aging on your memory and your mind. Some say the best thing for your brain is to combine learning something new things with physical activity. Haven't you noticed that you tend to remember things better if you were doing a particular activity at the same time? I find I learn new dance moves much faster than if I was sitting at a desk trying to remember a new language. If I were moving around while learning the new language, I also tend to remember the new words much better. Give it a try, the worst thing that could happen is people think you are crazy, but hey, you are having fun...

One last thing that you can do to help keep your brain healthy is to be sure to get enough sleep. Lack of sleep can adversely affect the brain and cognitive functions. A 2001 study indicated that sleep deprivation can lead to mental illness including psychosis and bipolar disorder. One study found that lack of sleep causes the brain to become incapable of putting an emotional event into the proper perspective. It can also cause you to become incapable of making a controlled, suitable response to the event. How many times have you been so tired that you "couldn't think straight"? Well, there is an actual physical reason for it. You need to keep your brain healthy so you reduce the chance of developing these problems.

So, how is your brain? Is it as sharp as it used to be? Do you feel like you are forgetting more than you used to? Try some of the ideas above and let's see if we can get that brain working better and helping you to feel better.

Are you Healthy?

Today we are going to change the topic a bit. We have talked much about what is going on, where we have been in the last 2 months, and our pet's health. But beyond all of those items, tie biggest question that you need to ask yourself is, Are you Healthy?

If you are not healthy, you cannot do a fraction of the things you want to do. Not only that, but your attitude may also reflect your declining health. If you are not healthy, you will find yourself doing less and less and before you know it, you are letting things fall apart around you. The funny thing is, if you are not healthy, you may not even notice that you are letting little things slip at first. Sometimes you may look at a task that you would have in the past taken for granted, and decided that the task was too much for you to handle now. If that starts happening, you need to ask, are you healthy?

"A life filled with quality in work, thoughts, companions and activities can strengthen your natural immunity to germs, viruses and negative hereditary influences". - Stephen Blauer

You may have noticed that when you don't feel great, not sick, but just tired, that little tasks seem insurmountable. Most likely those tasks seem so difficult because your body is trying to heal itself and doesn't want to be distracted being forced to do other things. In this busy world we are currently in, and especially in this extremely stressful job market, it is very easy to forget to listen to your body and determine if you are healthy. Many people get really stressed about their financial situation (actually, I don't know ANYBODY who doesn't get stressed about that..) I realize that the term "healthy" is a relative term, but you know when you are not performing at your best, or when you are feeling run-down. It is important to at least listen to your body and be aware that something may not be good. As you become less healthy, you may also tend to make bad business desisions. It is critical to remain healthy so that you can make the best decisions possible when decisions are needed.

High stress levels can constrict circulation and can negatively affect the organs of the body. If you notice that you are under a lot of stress, you may want to consider some methods of relieving some of that stress [and no, shooting the object of your stress is NOT an option ;-)]. Some people believe that meditation is a good tool to promote relaxation and manage stress, others believe physical exercises can do the same. I know when I am really stressed, meditation is the last thing I need to do, I need the release of physical energy before I can even consider meditation. After a good work-out (which could simply just be a brisk walk outside for 30 minutes) I am much more inclined to effectively meditate, but that is me. Everyone has a different way of dealing with stress, and relieving it.

Physical activity does release endorphins, which do make you feel better. So, if you can do physical activity for a brief time, you may feel better and then be able to get a better perspective of how to handle the stressors of your life. Stress is a part of life, the key is to find ways to manage it so it doesn't manage you. If you continue to remain stressed, it is like having your body in overdrive for extended periods of time. That will wear your body down and you will start finding that you are not as healthy as you used to be.

Little things will wear you out, little annoyances will seem huge, you may find that you catch colds easier, or your allergies bug you more. If you start seeing some of these warning signs, take a step back and ask yourself, "Are you healthy?"

We at Hawgwash, LLC may have some nutritional items that could help reduce the effects of stress on your body, but you will need to not just rely on nutritional products to keep you healthy. Nutritionals are good in addition to a healthy lifestyle, but do not expect the nutritional products to "fix" all that is unhealthy in you. A sound nutrition and exercises plan are among the most important factors in reducing your stress levels. If you are interested in working towards improved health, please check out our website, we carry two types of nutritional products that may work well with your lifestyle. One is Stem Cell Nutritionals by STEMTech, which help support your natural stem cell physiology. The other nutritional product is a variety of juice blends by MonaVie.

If you have questions regarding either of these nutritional lines, please feel free to contact us at hawgwash1@yahoo.com. We would love to hear from you and we will strive to answer your questions quickly and accurately.

Nutritional Drinks in General vs MonaVie in Particular

Tonight I learned an interesting lesson with some nutritional drinks that can be purchased in the various local food stores. During my visit with my father, he offered me a nutritional drink for the evening. Since I drink MonaVie nutritional drinks regularly, I didn't think hard about his offer, and accepted.

What I learned though was that some of the nutritional drinks that are sold in the stores, may be technically good for you, but they taste NASTY. What really surprises me is that the price of these nutritional drinks is no different from the prices of a bottle of MonaVie (Active, Original, Mmun, or Pulse). What I discovered is that this particular nutritional juice was so NASTY tasting that my father had to mix an ounce of it with about 8 ounces of grape juice. Doesn't that defeat the purpose of having a nutritional juice? I didn't think you should have to mix a drink into another drink, just to hide the flavor.

MonaVie does not have that problem at all. I find my problem with MonaVie is that I like the juice so much that I will find excuses to drink it. I happily take an ounce or two of MonaVie Active in the morning and at least an ounce or two of MonaVie Mmun in the evening. No need to mix it with other things to hide the flavor. MonaVie is excellent as it stands. You would be tempted to drink the whole bottle, and not have to worry about mixing it with anything. This experience I had with my father's choice of nutritional juice reminded me of the time I thought I had found the perfect health drink.

This drink was supposed to be really good for your body. The label claimed that it contained absolutely everything that your body needed to stay healthy. It was supposed to supply you with added energy and vigor. The problem started when you opened the bottle. The running joke was that this particular juice drink smelled like a medicine bottle. You didn't smell any fresh juice smells, you smelled what can only be described as crushed up vitamin pills. You know what I mean, that nasty pill, mediciney (I know that is not a word, but it is the best way I can describe it) smell. This juice smelled so bad that you almost had to literally hold your nose before you drank it. I also remember my almost choking on the drink after it passed my tongue. It was definitely not the most enjoyable drink to take, but I treated it like bad medicine, you took it because it was good for you.

Luckily MonaVie is very good for you (probably better than that juice was I took years ago) and it tastes great. Each MonaVie drink, Active, Original, Pulse, or Mmun has a slightly different flavor because they use different mixes of fruits, but the overall flavor is very pleasant. There is no nose holding in order to drink the juice. You can even have a conversation after downing a few ounces of MonaVie instead of making faces and almost gagging as I did with other drinks. We even have MonaVie tasting parties because their juices taste so good. Even better is that you can't drink too much MonaVie. Granted taking anything to excess is not good for you, but at least with MonaVie you are not taking excessive amounts of refined vitamins and minerals. Everything that is in the MonaVie is natural and tasty.
Not only are the MonaVie nutritional juices tasty, but their energy drink (80% fruit juice) is also awesome. If you want an energy boost without the jitters and an energy drink that contains 80% fruit juice, MonaVie Energy is the drink to have. MonaVie Energy has just enough bite to be fun, but it does not make you make funny faces as you try to drink something else that tastes NASTY. How many other energy drinks have you tried that could only be described as needing a "acquired taste"? MonaVie Energy does not need an acquired taste, it is good from the start to the end. No more funny faces when you swallow the drink.
Hopefully you will try some of the MonaVie drinks, if you have any questions, please feel free to e-mail us at hawgwash1@yahoo.com. If you see us at a rally and are curious about how the MonaVie nutritional juices compare, please ask and we will be willing to provide you a sample to taste. Then you will see we are not joking about how good the MonaVie drinks really are. Better yet, you can make money with MonaVie too...ask me how...

Multiple Income Streams - Why?

We have been asked several times why we have so many varied opportunities on our website. As we have discussed before, the key to real wealth is to have multiple income streams. One income stream, especially in these times, will not bring you to real financial freedom. As we are discovering, painfully in some instances, is that one income stream is not necessarily the most stable income stream in the world.

How many people do you know that have been working diligently all their adult life, to only discover that they have been laid off or "down-sized"? We are seeing this phenomena more and more often as companies continue to tighten their belts. By having multiple income streams, you know that when one line of income starts slowing down, you have other streams that may be able to increase and essentially take up the slack. You may even become bored working on one way to earn money, and choose to move into another area of interest. That doesn't mean you need to give up your income from the first business, it just may mean you won't have as much money coming in from that area.

But again, the biggest reason for multiple income streams is to have the ability to seamlessly move from one to another when the economy changes. One of your product lines may have been a great seller for years, but it may be not be as popular today as it was. By having essentially more than one pole in the water, you have the opportunity to catch more fish. We have more than one pole in the water so that we can catch fish no matter what is going on. We just re-align our emphasis when one income stream begins to decline. I don't want to imply that we stop working an opportunity, unless that particular product line is no longer viable, it is worthwhile to keep that line going, just to shift your emphasis to something that may be more profitable, now. It is almost a given, that when one opportunity does not bring in as much income now, it will down the road, when the social climate changes again. We keep multiple opportunities available to keep up with the ebb and flow of social thoughts and ideas.

If you look at the various opportunities we have to offer, we have something for almost everyone. We offer waterless cleaning technology for people who really want their vehicles to look great and help keep the environment healthy. We also offer a few different nutritional products to keep you healthy. Without your health, you won't be able to clean your car, or for that matter, you won't even be able to go out and get your vehicle dirty. The two nutritional products we carry take care of the body in two stages. STEMTech products work with Stem Cell Nutrition, where it allows your body to use it's own adult stem cells to renew itself. MonaVie products help keep your existing cells healthy. We also offer Pre-Paid Legal services because you can never be too safe. How many times did you realise after the fact that it would have been really great to have the advice of an attorney BEFORE you signed on the dotted line? We personally use Pre-Paid Legal and it has kept us out of a boat-load of trouble.

So, you can see that the multiple streams of income we offer on our website can all work together, without really competing against each other. This way, if someone is more concerned about their health, we can direct them one way, if they are concerned about the environment and clean vehicles, we point them another direction, etc... This is a great way to recession proof your business.

Until tomorrow...

Stem Cell Nutritionals - StemFLO

Boy, I posted the StemEnhance blog last night (titled Stem Cell Nutrition), but by reading the actual blog posting, it looks like it posted on Sunday, which is very incorrect. I have now learned something about Blogger, if you set an article as a draft, and then post it days later, it ends up looking like you posted it the day you started the draft. If you are like me and like to see your articles in chronological order, you cannot work preliminary blogs in Blogger as drafts, because once you post, those postings go back to the original date you started the draft. The best way I guess, to get your blog posted for future dates, is to schedule them ahead. The downside to this is that if you forget and then your scheduled date comes and goes, your rough draft is posted for all to see.

Anyway, despite what date Blogger said I posted the StemEnhance article, I really posted it last night and at that time promised to talk about the companion product to StemEnhance, StemFLO. StemFLO supports the body's circulatory system. It is the key to natural circulation enhancement. Taken in conjunction with StemEnhance, StemFLO increases the ability of the body to utilize the additional stem cells that have been released into your blood stream. StemFLO is all about improving your body's circulation. It digests Fibrin mesh that could block some of the capillaries and slow down the transfer of stem cells to areas in need.

Please remember, I am not a doctor, so I am describing this in layman's terms. Fibrin is a protein that is essentially "sticky" and is basically there to create a "mesh" to aid in blood clotting. Fibrin is not always "sticky" but becomes so when certain other factors occur. When the body is stressed, it causes the fibrin to become "sticky" and they will tend to turn into a mesh, where ever they are. A stressed body could be from physical stress (injury), emotional stress or environmental stress (toxins consumed or in the air). As our world gets more polluted, and our jobs get more stressful, we have more fibrin creating a mesh in our blood stream. This is not good for optimal blood flow and this is where StemFLO comes in. StemFLO dissolves the fibrin mesh, which opens up capillaries for better blood flow. The ingredient inside StemFLO that causes this to occur is Fibrinerase - a proprietary blend of plant-based enzymes that help digest fibrin and debris in the blood. Once you have removed this 'mesh' you should experience better circulation, and if you are also using StemEnhance, you have now allowed your body faster access to the additional adult stem cells that have been released in your blood stream.

StemFLO also contains strong antioxidant nutrition, promotes overall greater health, optimized circulation and as I mentioned above, optimized adult stem cell recruitment. It is made up of a proprietary blend of all natural herbs and special nutrients. We just started taking StemFLO the other day, and are already starting to feel a little bit better. This "better" feeling is an overall feeling of wellness, and as time progresses, we will let you know the actual physical improvements we note.

We are taking the StemEnhance and StemFLO daily, to help our bodies rebuild the cells that are dying daily (a natural process). We are also taking MonaVie Active (for me) MonaVie Pulse (for Steve) and in the evening MonaVie (M)mum for both of us. My logic is that the StemTech products support healthier cell regeneration and development, and MonaVie helps the existing cells to remain healthy. In combination, we are taking care of our bodies from the cell building phase to the mature cell phase. Heck, by the time you may see us again, we should look a whole lot healthier (even though we have always tried to lead healthy lives..).

Until tomorrow...

Why Stem Cell Nutritionals?

Last night we discussed the need to be sure you align yourself with other companies that maintain similar core values and identity as your business. We discussed MonaVie and their business ethics and their product line. As you know we have recently begun working with another company, StemTech which I believe is a great addition to the companies we are currently associated with.

StemTech HealthSciences was founded in 2005 even though the science that has created StemEnhance goes back to the late 1970's. What StemTech HealthSciences has to offer is a nutritional supplement for adult stem cells. We all have adult stem cells in our bone marrow, what StemEnhace appears to do is to aid in the release of our own adult stem cells into our blood stream. By releasing more adult stem cells into our blood stream, we stand a better chance of healing faster. The adult stem cells can replicate other cells and by having more in the blood stream, if there is a need for a repair, there are already adult stem cells ready to make that repair. The products in StemEnhance are all natural and the main active ingredient (AFA) is grown naturally in a pristine lake in Southern Oregon.

What attracted us to StemTech were two things. First, and foremost, this company abides by the Direct Selling Association (DSA) Code of Ethics. This code of ethics requires companies to practice the highest ethics in business. The company has to complete a one-year probationary period before they are allowed to become members of the DSA. There are strict rules and regulations that participating companies have to follow, and in return, we are assured of working with a company that is serious about treating it's associates with honesty and integrity. Another item we really like about the management of StemTech is that they are actively involved in a global charitable foundation. This foundation covers a broad scope of charitable organizations, but remains true to their desire to help those less fortunate. Their vision statement is "to enhance personal dignity ad quality of life in all whom we reach globally, and give them an opportunity to know that people care through our acts of charity." Each purchase of StemTech products helps fund the StemTech Global Charity which is dedicated to the support of children's causes around the world.

The other aspect we really like about StemTech is the products that they offer. The StemTech products provide nutrition to the building blocks of our bodies. Where MonaVie is designed to help our bodies in their current cellular state, StemTech products are designed to provide nutritional benefits for stem cells before they become a particular part of your body. This way, you are providing nutrition to aid in the better building of cells through StemTech products and with MonaVie, you are providing nutritional benefits to the existing cells of your body. We look at this as almost a complete A-Z approach to nutritionals for your body.

This information may seem really technical, and for that I apologize. I am still learning about the products, and since there is so much research and science that has gone into these products, I do tend to wander off into the technical aspect of the products. Take a look at the StemTech website and you will understand why I end up getting so technical so fast. Their website provides an amazing amount of information for you to review, there are documented scientific studies available for review and there are quite a number of short videos that can be watched. It is a fun website, though can be scary with all the information they provide up front.

If you are interested in finding out more about the StemTech products, please feel free to e-mail us (hawgwash1@yahoo.com) with your questions and we will do our best to find your answers.

Until tomorrow...

More about MonaVie - the Company

Last night I talked about some of the MonaVie products and my personal experiences with those products. Tonight I would like to talk briefly about Corporate philosophy and direction and the type of corporate philosophy that MonaVie actively maintains.

Matching Corporate philosophy with your own is very important, especially if you are going to be a distributor for a company. Not only do you need to believe in the products that you carry, but it really helps if you also agree and believe in the particular corporate philosophy. If you believe in a product, but not the corporate philosophy, in the long run, there will be problems. You need to be able to not only embrace the quality of products, but the corporate thinking too. MonaVie corporate philosophy is very simple, they believe (from the founder downwards) that you cannot be successful unless you give back to the community and to the world. Their philosophy is God, Family, MonaVie. Their Mission Statement is: "...to chage ad improve lives around the world by introducing unique nutritional products, offering a rewarding business opportunity, ad by giving back through our charitable initiatives." I have stated in prior blogs that it is critical to keep in touch with your personal values and company identity. You cannot do that if you end up working with a company that does not maintain the same set of values and identity that you do.

One of the ways in which you reinforce your company identity is by aligning yourself with like-minded companies. If you want to be viewed as having strong integrity, then you do not want to associate with a company that is know to have no integrity at all. We at Hawgwash, LLC believe that we are here to help others succeed. By helping others to succeed, we will by default succeed. If we cannot help people to better their situation, then we are in the wrong business. We believe in a strong set of moral and ethical values, our word is our contract, and it would take a major catastrophe to occur for us to be forced to break our word. We strive to only promise what we can deliver on and once that promise is made, we will move heaven and earth to make good on that promise.

MonaVie also embodies the same type of corporate philosophy. Their goal is to provide product and commissions to you on time, every time. They strongly believe in giving back to the communities they live in and to the world. They believe their product not only help to promote wellness in customers, but they are active supporters in bringing wellness to the world through their M.O.R.E. Project. For them the M.O.R.E. Project provides what MonaVie believes is the right of every human being - food, clothing, shelter and education to disadvantaged children. It appears that a large portion of MonaVie's top distributors are active participants in the M.O.R.E. Project, which further enforces and validates the MonaVie corporate culture. From my perspective, MonaVie puts their money where their mouth is.

We are proud to be part of the MonaVie family and hope that you may also find a company that you can be proud to be aligned with also. MonaVie may not be for everybody, but for us at Hawgwash, LLC, it is a perfect match with our beliefs, which is also why we are also happily aligned with UltraLuster. UltraLuster also maintains the same set of high ethical and moral standards that we are looking to emulate.

Tomorrow we will go back a bit and talk about the corporate structure of StemTech (the new company we got into in December) and more information about the StemTech product line.

Until tomorrow...

MonaVie New Product Launch (M)mun

As promised, tonight we are going to review the new product that MonaVie came out with midnight on January 4th. I finally got my hands on a case of this new product, spelled (M)mun, but sounds like Immune...

We have been using the other MonaVie products, MonaVie Active, Pulse and Energy and love all that they have put out to date. The energy drink, EMV, is great beause it doesn't use additional sugar and is made with 80% juice. MonaVie Energy contains Acai, apple, grape, pear, acerola, cupuacu and camu camu. This energy drink tastes great, and gives me energy without the jitters I usually get from the other popular store-purchased energy drinks. If you compare the MonaVie Emv with the ones you can find in the store, you may be surprised how much sugar is added to those other drinks. Emv was introduced in June 2009.

If you couldn't tell, I really like the Emv, but MonaVie started with the juice nutritional drinks first. I personally use the MonaVie Active for joint health. I have arthritis and the Active does wonders to relieve my joint pain and swelling. I have become more mobile and don't favor my joints like I used to. The downside to the Active is that I no longer have a "weather knee". I used to be able to provide very accurate information (24 hours advance notice and accurate to within 2 hours) when it was going to rain and when it was going to stop raining. Now, the only time I know it is going to rain is if I see raindrops outside. Problem is that I am no longer prepared for the wet weather.

I do not personally drink the MonaVie Pulse because it contains pineapple which I am highly allergic to. The Pulse is great for lowering high blood pressure, Steve can attest that his blood pressure has stabilized since adding Pulse to his daily routine. Hopefully, over time, he will be able to reduce his dependence on high blood pressure medication as the Pulse helps heart health.

Now, the (M)mun is the latest addition to the MonaVie family and is designed for supporting Immune health. It has a different fruit blend from either the Active or the Pulse, but tastes awesome, kind of like a cross between Passion Fruit, Papaya and fruit punch (please note: that there is no papaya or passion fruit in this juice, but that is what the taste reminds me of). I drink this each evening, prior to bedtime, my logic is that it gives my body adequate time to digest the nutrients and work on restoring itself (my own un-scientific thoughts...). So far, it seems to be working. After my marathon driving last week, I didn't take any MonaVie and by the time I got home, was definitely starting to feel sick. Since I got back to drinking an ounce of Active in the morning and an ounce of (M)mun at night, I don't feel like I am coming down with anything. Time will tell, and I promise to keep you posted.

I have noticed that when taking MonaVie Active regularly, I tend not to get as sick as often. I used to get sick almost every month, catching everything that was going around. Now, it seems that my system is more resistant to the nasty bugs that are wandering around. Hopefully this new (M)mun will help support my immune system even more.

CNI, Core4 and now Xyngular What to Do?

Well, by now those of you who have been following these blogs found out this morning that CNI has merged with another company. Up until yesterday, CNI was the company where we could get the Core4 System of weight loss products. Over the weekend, CNI announced that they have merged with a new company, Xyngular and they are going to go global.

The Core4 products can still be found on the Xyngular site, you just have to look a little harder for them. The neat thing about what Xyngular has done is include the cost of shipping as part of the product price. There is a $3.95 handling charge for orders under $199.00, but basically, you can add the cost of the products together, add $3.95 and you know how much your order is going to be. You don't have to go through the whole shopping cart experience to find out how much it will cost including shipping. This makes life much easier for distributors.

Hawgwash, LLC will continue to sell and promote the Core4 product line, now under the Xyngular site. We know nothing specific regarding the Xyngular product drinks, and may research that down the road. Our current favorite health juice is MonaVie, and we are not willing to switch at this point in time. MonaVie has done wonders for us and our friends and we are not currently willing to switch from what we know works well. That is not to say we won't experiment with the Xyngular drink, it is just that at this point in time, we see no need to invest in yet another drink.

Once we have tried the Xyngular drink, we will report back on this blog, but for those of you who are interested in a nutritional juice/drink, Hawgwash, LLC highly recommends the MonaVie product line.

So, if you are used to our CNI website through www.weightrenegade.com, don't worry, you can still find the great Core4 products on the new website, just click on the "Products" button across the top of the home page and you can access the Core4 product line. Otherwise, please feel free to go to our personal website (tomorrow, I have not finished updating for the changes from over the weekend) and you will be able to order the Core4 product there. We will do all that we can to accommodate your questions and concerns. Please feel free to drop us a line if you have any questions.

Tomorrow I will report on the newest product recently released by MonaVie.

Until tomorrow...
