Weight Loss - Weight Management Update

Well, I have been promising this for several days now and finally have the time to update everyone on my current weight loss / weight management update. I have started to lose weight again, even though I have been indulging in some candy (Easter is just around the corner). The weight loss is probably attributed to the fact that I am now eating smaller portions of food and a little more consistent with light exercise.

It is fun to sit down to a meal, look at the plate of food and not desire to clean the plate and then ask for seconds. My appetite overall has decreased, and when I do eat, I get full much faster. I think (and this is just my unscientific opinion) that the reason my desire for food has decreased is because what I am consuming is better for my body. As you are probably aware, I have been taking the full dosage of STEMTech products, StemEnhance and StemFLO, for a little over two months now. I have noticed that my appetite has decreased significantly over those same two months.

I can now look at food and not crave large portions. My desire for candy, and anything sweet has been greatly reduced also. We have been striving towards eating more balanced meals, but I believe the nutritional supplements that I have been taking has been largely responsible for my decreased appetite and reduction sweet cravings. I have read in the past that your body will crave what it lacks, and since StemEnhance and StemFLO are helping cleanse my body of antioxidants and increase adult stem cell circulation, my body is not craving all the "bad" foods that I had been eating.

My appetite has been reduced, but is not gone. I still get hungry, but once I start eating, I get full much faster. It is like my body is satisfied with less food. The portions are smaller, but my stomach rumblings are not as frequent either. This is very good when I have been working very hard to take the weight off. I have mentioned in previous blogs that my weight gain and loss has remained static for many months now. You can probably also sense my frustration with that static weight. Now that the STEMTech products are fully in my system, I am hoping that my body has been able to repair the parts that have been preventing me from losing the additional weight. We shall see, hopefully my theory is correct. If so, then that may just throw into the wind the concept of weight loss products. If my theory works, then all you really need to do is maintain a balanced diet and light exercises to lose the excess tonnage that you may have acquired over the years. We will continue to test this theory and I will keep you posted on my progress.

Until tomorrow...

Weekly Weight Loss Update

Today being Sunday, it is time again for me to fess up and provide an update on my weight loss. Since I have been sick off and on for the last week and a half (more sick than not), I have not lost any weight. I have gained a pound and a half of water weight. I am sure it is water weight because my finger rings have gotten tight, and that is ALWAYS due to an increase in water retention. Also, I have been weighing myself off and on all week, and the weight gain appeared in the last 24 hours.

I have higher than usual water retention today because I went out with friends for Mexican food last night. Since I don't cook with salt, and have been eating at home for several weeks, eating out usually increases my salt intake exponentially. The food was excellent, but since I have not been taking the Flush at all this week, I did retain all that salt and water today. Since I have been sick, the only items of the Core4 family I have been taking with any regularity has been the Cheat.

Cheat is easy to use, I keep it on the kitchen counter, so whenever food is prepared, I just grab the Cheat and sprinkle it on my food. Since that rotten cold, I did not feel like taking any pills at all, and really didn't want to look at the Lean as a meal replacement. When I get a bad cold, I have no desire to eat at all, so Lean did not float my boat. I tried taking the Accelerate a few days, more for the energy boost than anything else, but I was still tired. My thoughts were that since I was sick and drinking lots of herbal tea and water, I didn't want to take any of the Core4 products and basically flush them right out of my system. That was probably not the smartest thing I did, but if you don't feel good, logic goes out the window.

The good news is that even though I really didn't use all Core4 products in the last week and a half, I didn't gain any significant weight (that also includes that for the last week and a half I have done no exercising at all). I know that once I take the Flush, all the water retention will be removed and I will be back at the weight I was last week.

Hopefully this next week will be a healthy and busy week, so my slow and steady weight loss will continue. I will continue to provide weekly updates...

Until tomorrow...

Weight Loss Report In Day

Well, here it is, another Sunday and time for me to report on how my weight loss for the week has gone with the Core4 product line. I am very happy to report that despite the stress related to this week, I managed to lose a pound and a half.

I attribute this weight loss very simply to the fact that I did as I promised last Sunday, I exercised moderately for 5 out of the seven days this week. For my body, that is how I get the Core4 products to work. What I discovered with my particular metabolism, I have to do more than just sit in front of the computer in order to lose any weight. Even if I do not eat as much, if I sit and do no strenuous movements, I will not lose a pound. I am quite sure that due to my use of the Core4 products though, that I did not gain any weight when I spent the whole week working in front of the computer.

I finally figured it out. While we were on the road, going from motorcycle rally to motorcycle rally, I had to walk the dogs at least three times a day. At least two of those three walks were about a mile in length and they were brisk walks. You may not think Yorkies walk a lot, but these two can easily walk for a mile and still want to go further.

Once home, I don't have to walk the dogs, we have a relatively large back yard that the dogs love to run in. They prefer running around in the yard to walking because they can actually run around where THEY want to go. Anyway, I am wandering off the subject.

I did not do a tremendous amount of exercising this week to lose that pound and a half, I did a brisk walk for anywhere from 20-30 minutes for 5 days. That is all I did for exercising. I played on the exercise ball once, but I didn't want to do too much after all that inactivity.

Next week I will continue to walk briskly for a minimum of 20 minutes and then start adding some light exercises another time during the day (exercise ball, some stretching, etc) those light exercises I will do only 3x a week and for about 20 minutes. I truly believe that as I stay on the Core4 products and do the light exercising (no pain...no pain..) that I will continue to lose weight, even through the holiday season. This way you can see that all you personally need to do in order to lose weight is to begin using the Core4 product line and some light walking.

I will continue to keep you posted on my progress.

If you want to learn more about the Core4 system, you can either e-mail me at hawgwash1@yahoo.com or go to www.hawgwash.net/CNICore4.htm.

Until tomorrow...

Weekly Weight Loss Update

Hi everyone. Since today is Sunday, it is the day I have to fess up and give you an update on my weight loss. The good news is that the weight is continuing to come off, just slowly so I guess that is a healthy weight loss. Sometimes I am envious of the people who can drop the pounds in a very short period of time. Again, I have to think...Healthy weight loss. By losing weight slowly, I stand a greater chance of not putting the pounds back on.

Believe it or not, you are all holding my feet to the fire, I know that I have to check in with you once a week...and boy, there are days (like today) where I would rather forget to check in. I don't want you thinking that the products I am using are not working. Actually, they are, but I have been cheating like mad this last week and am somewhat embarrassed to admit it.

As you may remember from last week, I was starting the Core4 Ignite program again this week. It was my goal to go through the Ignite program (it is only 9 days long) about once every other month. Well, I put off starting the Ignite program until Tuesday. I did very well Tuesday and Wednesday. Then...stuff happened.

We went out to eat, and these chicken wings just happened to find their way onto our table. I have chicken wings about once a year, and boy, do I LOVE chicken wings. These wings in particular are awesome. I just COULDN'T pass up on those wings even though I was on the Ignite plan. The good news is that by Thursday, I had managed to lose 2.5 pounds, even with my not following the Ignite program properly.

I did well for the next day and a half until Saturday, when we were working at the Gold Canyon Marketplace. It was over 100 degrees out there, and I kept drinking a lot of water. The problem was that I needed to stay away from "white" foods and this bag of Cracker Jacks magically appeared at the booth. I didn't want to eat anything heavy, but the only sort of non-white food was the Cracker Jacks. So, they found their way into my belly...

I then had made rice and chicken for dinner. Unfortunately some of that rice did manage to find it's way onto my plate, but I didn't eat much (justification...). Today, I ate some more rice but really fell off the wagon, Steve made macaroni & cheese, and I really like that too...so I had some.

The good news is that I am still down 2.5 pounds from when I started on the Ignite program Tuesday. I am quite sure that if I was better at following the Ignite plan, I would have taken off more weight by now. I am still thrilled with 2.5 pounds and even when I am not being very good at eating, I am continuing to slowly lose weight.

I guess you could say I have a very "sticky" body. It likes the extra pounds I acquired over the last 4 years and doesn't want to give it up. I will be starting on a very light exercise schedule (beginning at home tonight) since I am no longer walking the dogs several miles a day. When we were traveling, I had to walk the dogs, now, all I have to do is open the back door and let them run around the backyard.

We shall see how well I do by adding more exercise to my schedule. Hopefully by next week, I will have even better news about the weight I have continued to lose. Again, I am very thrilled that I have not added any weight since starting on the Core4 products, I just wanted to lose weight faster than I have been.

Once I get the combination right for my body, I will let you all know. Please e-mail (hawgwash1@yahoo.com) me if you want more information on the Ignite program or go to www.weightrenegade.com to find out about the Core4 products.

Until tomorrow...

My Accelerated Weight Loss

As promised, I am going to let you in on my little secret about what I have done to increase my weight loss this week.

I have been trying to lose weight for years, in the last 4 years I have put on more weight than I ever did. I believe that most of my weight problems were due to my metabolism slowing down radically. Once I put on the weight, it was a massive job to get any of it off.

I have been using the Core4 products pretty religiously for the last month and have seen reasonable weight loss and happily inches lost around my waist and hips. The overall concept of the CNI Core4 plan is that you don't significantly modify your diet.

Some of the powers that be in CNI have put out a preliminary plan for accelerated weight loss. This was designed for some people (like me) whose bodies appear "sticky" (serious fat storing mode) where it was very hard for them to take any significant weight off. Since I have been pleased with my current weight loss and have suffered no side effects (that I noticed...other than getting thinner...) with the Core4 system, I thought it would be interesting to try this new accelerated program.

The program itself is only 9 days long. The recommendation is always that you consult a doctor before beginning any weight loss plan. After the 9 day plan, they recommend that you do not repeat it for a week so that you don't lose too much weight and put too much of a strain on your body.

This plan was designed to counteract the effects of the nutrient deficient foods and help us purge the toxins that we may have consumed from our food and water. This program uses the Core4 products to really stimulate your metabolism and maximize your results. It is hoped that this program will really charge up your metabolism and turn it into a fat burning machine instead of a fat storing machine.

So far this program has worked really well for me. I have just finished Day 6 of the 9 day program and am pleased with the results (as noted in yesterday's blog).

For the specifics on the plan, please send me a message and I will send the specific plan to you.

During this phase, I started using the maximum dosages of Accelerate and Flush (taking 2 capsules each instead of 1 each)

Basically, the first two days I spent focused on the Lean shakes only, then the next 5 days I had the Lean shake in the morning and really worked on eating healthy meals for Lunch and Dinner. The last two days I am supposed to focus on taking the Lean shakes.

Since I am only in Day 6, I can't tell you yet the final results, but I can say that I am losing weight faster, my waist is definitely getting smaller, as are my hips. I am not lethargic, nor grumpy. I am happy to report that my stomach actually rumbles when it is hungry (that didn't happen for a long time), but I don't get the headaches when my stomach rumbles. I am happy to feel the hunger pangs, it means my metabolism is working again.

I think that I will follow this 9-day plan once a month to be sure my body stays on the high metabolism track. I don't want to lose my weight too fast so I won't do the 9 days, then a week off and then the 9 day plan again. I really am not in a position to keep that much of a modified diet. I can modify my diet for 9 days much easier than if I did it every other week.

I will post again about my weight loss at the end of this experiment, in 3 days time. With luck, by the next time you see me, you won't recognize the thinner me... My goal is to get back to my optimum weight by the end of this year.

Until tomorrow...

Weight Loss Update as of August 22, 2009

In case you were interested in the Core4 opportunity and why I got involved, click here for the short 6-minute video: http://www.hawgwash.irepcni.com/home/videos/video2/core4.html
I know I wasn't going to update you on my weight loss / weight management until tomorrow, but I learned something really cool today and didn't want to wait until Sunday to tell everyone.

As most of you know, I have been using the CNI Core4 products to lose weight since the middle of July. Up until last week, I was down about 10 pounds without any significant change to my diet. I say significant because when I felt like skipping a meal, instead I drank a Lean shake. The only other thing I noticed was my appetite was reduced, so I got full faster.

Since my metabolism has been so slow, I wanted to ramp up my weight loss and wanted to see what would happen if I took the full recommended amounts of the Accelerate and Flush (I had been taking one Accelerate and one Flush daily). I started a modified program for the Core4 on Monday (taking 2 Accelerate and 2 Flush daily). I will go into more details about this modified program on Sunday, but wanted to tell you what I discovered today.

I have been working hard on sticking with the Core4 plan and kind of fell off my modified diet today. I had been craving McDonald's for some time now and finally gave in to temptation. I ate a Quarter Pounder with cheese, french fries and a soda with a refill. It tasted great. I was full long before the meal was finished, I couldn't finish the Quarter Pounder meal but sure made a good effort. The downside is that my body has become so used to a more healthy fare (lower in fat, higher in protein) that now my belly and guts have been gurgling like there is no tomorrow. I am so sorry I ate the meal even though it tasted good. I guess I am becoming fast food intolerant (like lactose intolerance?). That is good and bad.

I know that the next time I crave fast food that I will eat it in moderation, not the full meal (good news). I also know that it may be an uncomfortable experience (bad news). I don't know if the folks at CNI knew this could be a side effect, but quite honestly, I like this side effect. It will help to inspire me to keep to a healthier lifestyle. Other than the bad gurgles in my gut and belly, I feel pretty good and have been all week long. I will discuss tomorrow what I did to modify my eating and what the results are so far. See you tomorrow...

More weight loss info

I wanted to update you on how my weight loss has gone for the last week. I have not talked about it much this week for several reasons. The first one is that I don't want to bore everyone on what I am doing to lose weight. Once I started on this odyssey, I wasn't sure what to expect, but now I am happily going down the road to healthy weight loss. I also don't want to sound too much like I am bragging, weight loss is not easy most of the time and will vary from person to person. I am very pleased that I have managed to keep the 12 pounds off that I had lost in the first 3 weeks. What has been continuing to happen is that I seem to be developing more lean muscle so I haven't seen any significant weight loss in the last week and a half but have continued to see a decrease in my waist and hip size. I am committing now to provide weight updates to you every Sunday (assuming my internet connection is solid).

Lean muscle weighs more than fat (which I had forgotten about), so at first I was saddened to think I was not losing any more weight. What didn't make sense was that even though I plateaued on my weight loss (I knew that by standing on the scale every day) my clothes continued to get loser on me. I am at my last notch on my belt and will be preparing to punch another hole in my belt. I do not want to purchase another belt (which I so desperately need) until I am at my ideal weight and girth. I have had to purchase two more pairs of pants a size smaller than what I had been wearing, but again, don't want to purchase too many clothes in this intermediate size of mine. I had to purchase the pants, don't want to look scruffy all the time.

So I guess you can say there is a downside to losing weight. Most of my clothes now look a tad baggy on me and I refuse to purchase clothes to fit my current size since I expect to lose more weight and inches before this is over. I don't know how I managed with clothes as I was gaining weight, but most likely, if I remember correctly, I would wear them until I was literally busting out of the seams. Now everything is baggy, good thing the baggy look is still in style.

Not only does these CNI Core4 products help me to lose weight, I am starting to see an increase to another line of income. That is awesome, I am getting healthy and on the road to more finiancial freedom. If you want to know more about CNI and their Core4 products, please visit www.hawgwash.irepcni.com

My ongoing weight loss saga

I know I haven't written much about my weight loss. I didn't gain any weight, so all of you hoping I fell off the wagon and gained my weight back can just tough it out. I have been at a stand-still for the last 7 days and I can easily explain why.

I did not use the Cheat on most of the food that I ate. The majority of the time, the food appeared in front of me (really it did...) and the Cheat was either in the motor home or locked in the trailer. I did remember to continue to use the Flush and Accelerate daily though and would like to believe that my weight stability is due to that. I would also like to note that I ate very badly near the end of the rally.

I ate French Creek French Fries nightly (that is at least for 6 days..) and drank regular soda several days running also. Hamburgers were the fare for a couple of days, as was donuts in the morning. The good news is that I still have only one notch left on my belt and my now "fat" pants are still my "fat" pants. I did not gain any inches, but did not lose any significant weight. The good news is that my appetite never did increase, so my food consumption was still reasonable.

Today I have managed to use the Cheat on all that I ate and am back to drinking the Lean at least once daily. I think I am going to look for a little belt holder for my Cheat so that it will be with me all the time. I found that without a purse, and then end up eating when you least expected it. If I put the Cheat in a holder like my cell phone holder, I will be ready at all times... Hmmmm, I have an old cell phone holder, perhaps the Cheat bottle will fit... hmmmm...

If you are interested in losing weight or finding out more about what I am using to lose my extra tonnage, please visit, www.hawgwash.irepcni.com. Until next time...

One brief note on my ongoing Weight Loss

So far this week, I have not gained, nor have I lost weight. I would like to report that I have lost another half an inch around my waist. I have only one more hole in my belt before I run out of notches. I have been very good about taking the Accelerate daily (one tablet) and pretty darn good about taking the Flush (one tablet at night - missed taking that only one night). I keep forgetting to use the Cheat (since I don't carry it all the time) and I have been taking the Lean as a replacement for breakfast.

Not too bad considering how long it took for me to put this weight on. I am still very pleased with my results, I would rather lose the weight slowly so I know it will stay off. I am really enjoying getting that belt smaller and smaller. I can't wait to finally get back to my version of an ideal weight, I really want a new belt...

If you are curious about what I am taking and how to get involved, go to http://www.hawgwash.irepcni.com/ for more information. If you want to get the products I have been blogging about, you will need to click on the "Sign up for free" button in the upper right hand corner of that page and get at least the Basic Pack. When you sign up, you can create your own website name (at no cost to you) and then you can wander around another section of the CNI website. The Basic Pack will give you a 14 day supply of all 4 products CNI makes. The best part about this program is that it has a 90-day money back guarantee. Not many companies are that confident about their products that they would offer such a deal.

After you purchase at least the Basic Pack you can the go back into your personal website (that you created when you signed up for free) and order individual products. You are not required to continue to purchase products in the kit format. Purchase only what you want or need.

Update on Weight Loss Saga

Well guys, here I was, planning on getting on the scale yesterday morning and boom, I get distracted. To explain better, since we are in the motor home, the bathroom scale can be used best right by the refrigerator (poetic justice?). Sooo, I place the scale by the fridge, notice the throw rug seems a tad damp so I touch it, trying to decide if it was really damp or just very cold from the night before.

Unfortunately, the rug was damp so of course, I have to investigate. Well, as I started feeling around the throw rug, I noticed the carpet was also damp. I then start moving all kinds of stuff (including my laptop case, boxes, papers, etc.) only to find not a damp carpet, but a sopping wet one. I would like to note, this is a great way to assist in any weight loss program...start stressing about where a leak is in a motor home before either breakfast or a shower...

After a good bit of swearing and moving of stuff (it is truly amazing how much stuff accumulates on the floor of a motor home when you are stopped for more than one day..) it was determined that we have a significant leak somewhere. It was not the fridge (goodie) but we did finally find that the sink was leaking fresh water like a sieve.

By the time we finished moving stuff and moping up the mess, I barely had time for a shower and was not even remotely interested in breakfast. After begging a cup of coffee from a neighbor, we went to the booth to work. It was then I realized that I never did get on the scale to weigh myself.

Does feeling thinner count? My clothes are really getting loser, the shirts I wear are not as tight, and I purchased jeans an inch smaller. The cool thing is the jeans fit, they are not overly tight. I only purchased 2 pair of jeans since I do plan on getting thinner than where I am now.

It is exciting to discover the small changes that your body makes when you finally start losing weight at a steady pace. I have not felt as tired, when I run with the dogs, it doesn't feel like I am doing more bouncing than running and I don't feel as jiggly as I had a month ago. I can't wait to drop another few inches and start getting back into my original "skinny" clothes. It will be really fun to see some of my friends, whom I haven't seen in several months. They will be able to see any changes in my shape better than me, they don't look at the flab in the mirror daily.

It is hard to see changes when you see yourself daily. I am going to start weighing myself every other day from now on, it looks like the weight loss is stabilizing slightly, and I don't want to have to report a day or two of no weight change. Even if there is no weight change, it is not demotivating, the fact that clothes are now fitting looser is a great motivator.

Good night for now, talk with everyone later tomorrow.

By the way, if you want more information on what I have been taking, check out www.hawgwash.irepcni.com

Continuing Saga of Weight Loss with CNI Core4

Today there was no significant loss of weight even though I was diligent in using all Core4 products yesterday. I still consider this a good sign. I believe that if the weight comes off very fast, it will come back just as fast.

What I have discovered is that by taking Accelerate (part of the Core4 product offering) in the morning, my energy levels have been way up. I am not inclined to really desire a nap by 3 pm. I also have had more desire /energy to do a lot of walking, I find I am not as tired after a long brisk walk as I used to be (now up to almost 5 miles a day). My pants are now getting baggy which is really cool.

I discovered today what the primary ingredient of the Cheat product is. Cheat is the product that you literally shake or sprinkle onto your food before you eat it. The main ingredient of Cheat is Konnyaku root.

Konnyaku root has been consumed in Japanese dishes for over 2,000 years. When taken with food, it reduces the speed of sugar intake. Konnyaku forms a jelly-like material and expands about 30-50 times in the digestive system which then gives the feeling of being full. It also cleans the digestive tract of toxins. It also is high in fiber and rich in minerals.

This root has been a staple of the traditional Japanese diet and is available in all supermarkets in Japan. Typically, Konnyaku root is consumed as a fiber-rich vegetable about once a week by most people in that country.

There are many articles on this root which can be found in all the major search engines. I have found no negative articles (so far) on this root. If I find any negative articles, I will research and post that on this blog also. I do not want anyone thinking that I will only provide positive information. I want to provide fair and honest information. My only agenda is to inform and educate. This is a tracking of my personal weight loss journey and hopefully documentation of my final success in losing that unwanted weight. Now back to the subject at hand...

By incorporating Konnyaku into your daily diet (using Cheat) you can still enjoy eating what you have in the past while maintaining good health and better weight control. Using Cheat along with some moderate exercise will help you to discover that slimmer you.

As I mentioned before, Cheat does not have any specific taste associated with it. I have used it in everything from hot dogs, hamburgers, macaroni and cheese, baked beans, cookies, funnel cakes, sandwiches, and steak and did not notice any unusual flavor. It is not recommended to use Cheat in soups as it will expand quickly and look like a gelatinous blob in your soup (ewww..). I have yet to put it on ice cream, but will when the opportunity arises. I strive to keep a bottle of Cheat in my purse at all times so that when an eating opportunity arises, Cheat is there to help me reduce my caloric intake.

To find out more about Cheat and the other Core4 products, go to http://www.hawgwash.irepcni.com/. If you have trouble navigating around the website, please feel free to contact me at hawgwash1@yahoo.com and I strive to answer your questions.

I will continue to keep everyone updated on my personal weight loss journey. I look forward to getting back into my "skinny" clothes. It will be so neat to get back into the shape I was in while in college (and NO round was not my shape then...)
