Motorhome Detailing

We have been extremely busy today, a good portion of the day was spent taking care of our second motorhome, the one we outgrew and now have up for sale. We took it down to one of our favorite hang-outs in Apache Junction with the hope of people having a better chance to look at the motorhome. Once we parked the motorhome, we noticed that the rims looked a tad dull so we had to polish the rims and clean the wheels.

For those of you that know us, we cannot abide a dirty vehicle. At the house, the Southwind has been sitting quietly in the dirt, and it was just as quietly collecting dust and dirt on the rims. We had the wheels covered, but this Arizona dust is very fine and gets everywhere. When we took the wheel covers off this morning, we were surprised (we shouldn't have been, but hey..oh well) at the dirt that collected in the rims. At that time we decided that instead of cleaning the rig at the house, why not advertise two things, one is the motorhome for sale, and the other is the fact that we Detail Motorhomes and other Recreational Vehicles with our waterless technology products.

So we happily took the motorhome down into Apache Junction, parked it and started cleaning the rims and tires. The rig looked pretty darn spiffy by the time we were done. We did have a few people come by to watch us work, but they were just coming by to watch us work, they even got a kick out of watching us work. Some people have a strange way to enjoying themselves...

Anyway, once we finished playing with the Southwind, we left it for people to look at. Hopefully it will go to a good home, that motorhome has been very good to us. I am sad to be selling it, the Southwind was my first motorhome and I grew fond of the rig. It kept us safe, dry, warm, and I got to see some really great parts of the country in it. If we didn't add to our family (two dogs, and dragging the bird - a parrot in a BIG cage) we would still be driving the Southwind all over the country.

The Southwind was well cared for when we got it and we continued the tradition - fixing things before they got bad and keeping everything in top shape. This is a great rig for one or two people. If you want to know more about it, check out www.hawgwash.net/MotorhomeSale.htm or e-mail me at hawgwash1@yahoo.com.

Until tomorrow....
